Last week of March and over the weekend, we attended the international wine conference IWINETC in Mikulov, hosted this year by our colleagues from the South Moravian Region. During a total of fifteen professional B2B meetings with international tour operators and agencies focused on wine tourism and gastro tourism, we presented the offerings and opportunities of the Ústecký kraj.
After the conference, all participants traveled throughout South Moravia to visit wineries and discover new venues and opportunities. A group of journalists and a group of tour operators also set out to explore Czech wines. From Moravia, they headed to Kutná Hora, Mělník, and further to Roudnice nad Labem.
In Roudnice, the groups visited the Hláska tower, the historical center of the town, and the Lobkowicz Castle. However, the most important stop was at the cellars of Chateau Lobkowicz Roudnice for a wine tasting – white, red, as well as orange and organic wines.
The entire trip was crowned with traditional Czech gastronomy at Dvůr Perlová voda, including a beer tasting.
