The historically valuable building of the Renaissance Malt House is an important tourist destination, it contains a permanent exhibition on malting including archaeological findings on the ground floor. On the first floor there is a permanent interactive exhibition "The History of the Extraordinary Pencil" with hundreds of exhibits, an exhibition hall of fine arts and a screening room dedicated to films shot in Žatec including film clips.
